January 25, 2023, marked the 13th annual Bell Let’s Talk Day.

Since 2011, Bell Let’s Talk Day has helped to provide a platform for Canadians and individuals around the world to participate collectively in a conversation around mental health. At DSB1, we consider mental health and well-being critical in the promotion of student success and achievement.

Welcome to Betha Shaw Public School!  Bertha Shaw is a French Immersion school.  French Immersion begins in Junior Kindergarten with programming being 100% French until Grade 3.  In Grade 3, English is introduced with 40 minute daily classes.  In grades 4, 5, and 6, students have a 1/2 day in French and a 1/2 day in English.  The school offers a variety of extra-curricular events and clubs.
